A design partner, not a template

You don't need any coding or design background. Describe your business in plain language (what you do, who it's for, what kind of feeling you want it to convey) and the agent asks a few clarifying questions before building you a complete, polished site. The conversation feels like talking to a design partner who already knows how to build great websites.

A coding agent writes code. The Design Agent makes design decisions. When you ask Sunburst to add a features section, it doesn't just generate code. It designs a layout that fits your content, applies your existing brand and typography, and tunes spacing and proportion to match the rest of your site. The result isn't a generic block. It's a section that looks like it was designed by the same hand as the page around it.

The Design Agent has studied thousands of the web's best-designed sites and learned the principles behind what makes them feel professional, on-brand, and easy to navigate. When you describe your business, it draws on that knowledge to make real design decisions about typography, color, spacing, and layout, the same way a thoughtful designer would. The result feels intentional, not generated.

Use the editor when you know exactly what you want and the change is small. Updating a fundraise announcement, swapping a product screenshot, fixing a typo, or tweaking a CTA label is faster to do directly. Talk to the Design Agent for bigger moves: adding a new page, restructuring a section, shifting tone across your copy, exploring a fresh direction. The Design Agent can think through tradeoffs and rebuild with the rest of the site in mind. Most people end up using both in the same session, the editor for the small stuff and the Design Agent for the rest.

Importing existing sites isn't supported yet, but you don't have to start from scratch. Tell the Design Agent about your business and what you'd like to carry over from your current site, and it will design a new version that fits the brief. From there you can refine the look in the editor or guide the Design Agent toward the direction you want, page by page.

Each Sunburst site has one active editor at a time, so you'll work in sequence rather than simultaneously. For getting feedback or showing work in progress, every draft has a shareable unlisted link. Send it to teammates, clients, or stakeholders to click through the full site as if it were live, and they can let you know what to change before you publish.

Build as many sites as you want from the same account. A primary marketing site, a landing page for a campaign, a microsite for an event, a side project, all in one place. Brand assets and your media library carry across every site, so you can pull from one shared visual library no matter which site you're working on. Each site can have its own design direction.
